Arte di mano
Handcrafted by JnK
EVF Multi pouch for Leica Visoflex 2 & Thumb support.
Sample leather - Rally volpe / Minerva box black (vegetable tanned, france)
Arte di mano's product design starts from the necessary use.
The electronic viewfinder used for the M11, the Visoflex 2, is mounted and operated via the hot shoe terminal. In addition, the thumb support, which enhances the grip feeling by increasing the grip of the thumb, is also installed through the hot shoe part of the camera.
Both are highly versatile accessories, but since they have to be mounted on the same hot shoe, storage is very cumbersome if you alternately use both in the field.
The idea of the multi-pouch starts with the idea that one of them must be attached to the camera.
The parts that need storage are as above.
Thumb support, Visoflex 2, bottom cover of Visoflex.
Basically, the width of the pouch was adjusted to fit the Visoflex 2 and the length to fit the thumb support in order to accommodate both the Visoflex 2 and the thumb support at the same time.
However, since the internal structure was designed with this in mind, when storing the Visoflex 2, the Visoflex stops at the top of the pouch.
Easily stow or remove the Visoflex 2 including the bottom cover.
Now it's time to remove the thumb support from the camera and use the Bisoflex. The 40cm focal length of the new current Summilux is likely to further increase the utility of Visoflex.
And if you take out the Visoflex, you can see the inside multi-layered with foam. This is also the reason why Visoflex can only be stored up to the top.
Unlike the external height, the internal height is set up according to the Visoflex and carefully multi-leveled holes are cut.
As you may have noticed, this groove is designed to fit the shape of the thumb support. If you insert the thumb support into the groove, it will be stored vertically using the entire depth.
And when the thumb support is stored in this way, the gripping part is stored so that it does not come into contact with any wall.
And if you insert the bottom cover of Visoflex into this free space, you can store all replacement items using a very safe and carefully designed space.
How clearly and stylishly the required structure is realized from its use, this is the design pursued by JnK, Arte di mano, a leather workshop.

Connect type
1. Type 1 - Normal type
The normal type used the method used in the existing EVF2 viewfinder case.
A stud part that holds the force in the horizontal direction very firmly and a snap locking device that presses lightly in the vertical direction are very common methods, but Arte di mano's unique locking method that combines the two is not simply added, but very strong binding force.
It can be used by connecting to a strap, etc. In addition, it is easy to attach and detach compared to the binding force. You can easily peel it off and put it in your bag.
2. Type 2 - 2 way type
The 2-way type supports both vertical and horizontal directions.
Vertical coupling is possible through the groove on the outer surface, and the pouch cannot be separated unless the strap is separated from the camera because the strap is completely penetrated and connected.
* Connection may be limited depending on the width and thickness of the strap or connection part.
The 2-way type can also be horizontally fastened. Horizontal fasteners are used as belt loops. You can use it more firmly by wearing it on a belt.
